Fellowship at cp11

At cp11, we welcome everyone who joins us for our Sunday service. However, we would also invite you to become part of the life of cp11 and get to know us as fellow Christians. In fellowship, we seek to encourage each other in our Christian walk.

Just hanging around before and after church

We’d love to just chat with you before or after church on Sundays! cp11 is held at 11am so that it is convenient for you to have an informal lunch afterwards with us.

Popular places that people go for lunch include Burwood noodle restaurants, Ashfield dumpling houses, the Croydon chicken shop, and the Croydon Park Lebanese cafes.

cp11 church lunches

Each month (on the third Sunday of each month) we gather together as a congregation to have lunch in the church hall, lovingly prepared by our own members. The food is good, the company great, and the price is unbeatable! It costs a measly $5 per person, and is free for our visitors. Past highlights include roast chicken, lasagna, and chicken curry. And don’t forget this includes drinks and dessert.

watayawanado? (“What do you want to do?”)

Some members of our congregation can be keen, but indecisive, about fellowship activities with others from church. Most Sundays after service, someone will be asking “What do you want to do?”. Thus we have periodic fellowship social events for our members to have fun together.

These events also serve as non-threatening introductions for visitors to join us and get to know Christians.

For information about our next social events, check the News and events page and the calendar. Examples of events in the past have included:

  • Old Timey Fun games night
  • Munch Bunch Hunch trivia nights
  • Barefoot Bowls lawn bowls afternoon
  • Bruce’s Bushwalk Bash
  • Sports day at the State Sports Centre
  • Movie evening
