Glue is the church’s youth group for high schoolers. We meet together to learn from the Bible, sing, have fellowship and much more in a fun, relaxed environment.
We believe there is nothing better than knowing Jesus, discovering what the Bible has to say about life, death and everything in between, and helping young people to grow in spiritual maturity. So if you’re a Christian, come check us out! If you’re not a Christian, then you should definitely check us out!
Glue meets on Friday nights during the school term. We start at 7.30pm and finish at 9:45pm. We meet at WSCCC Strathfield: 90 Homebush Road, Strathfield 2135.
To build up disciples of Jesus obedient to God’s word, proclaiming Christ as Lord, to their friends and to the world, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The reason that Glue runs is summed up in Colossians 1:28 – it is our hope and desire that the youth come to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, and then live this out in their lives. Through Glue, we hope that the youth will grow and mature in their understanding of the Bible, and in their love for God and all those around them.

Bible Studies: The Gospel of Mark
This term, Glue will be studying the book of Mark. While many of the youth will be familiar with stories about Jesus from Sunday School, we are aiming to look deeply into Mark this term and letting the Bible speak for itself. Ultimately, through the 7 studies, our aim is to allow the youth to meet the real Jesus from the Bible (and not a watered-down version). Our challenge to the youth is for them to have their lives altered through correctly understanding who Jesus is.
Media Night (14/11/08)
Glue will again be holding a media night. On this night, we will be looking at a piece of media (e.g. film, short clip, article) and critiquing it from a Christian perspective.
Glue Finale 2008 (12/12/08)
Glue will finish off the year with a special event. Make sure your child doesn’t miss it!
Year 6 students
