Kids at cp11

At cp11, we believe that kids are a wonderful blessing from God, and a joy to cherish! Ministry to children is important – forming grassroots bases for their relationship with God.

We aim to teach God’s Word to our children in a meaningful way, as well as model godliness to them in what we do as Christians.

Worshiping together as a family

The Sunday service

Just as the Christian family is a unit, we believe that it is important that families worship together at church. Thus we encourage families to start their Sundays at cp11 sitting together in the service – worshiping together, singing together, and praying together. This is one way we model to our kids how we can relate to God in church.

When it is time for the sermon, the children go downstairs for Kids’ Ministry lessons.

The parents’ room

For parents with very young children who may be “active and talkative”, they can enjoy the service from a parents’ room downstairs. The service is telecast via closed-circuit television to that room. There is also a small collection of toys there.

Teaching our kids

Kids’ Ministry

Our children receive formal, but fun, lessons from the Bible, by members of our congregation who are committed to ministering the gospel to the children. They are structured lessons following a set programme, targeted at the appropriate age groups.

It is for anyone in the local neighbourhood and church community, providing a caring environment to get to know each other, and support each other as young parents.
