Rev. Mark Boyley
Minister of the English congregation at cp11
Mark has been minister at cp11 since February 2008. Mark and his wife Susan have had extensive experience in cross-cultural pastoral ministry. A graduate from Moore Theological College, Mark and his family have most recently been missionaries with OMF in Thailand, involved in church planting in Chiang Rai as well as theological teaching. Prior to this he was involved in pastoral ministry to the English congregation at Northern Districts Chinese Christian Church, Sydney, and before that he was involved in establishing the evening service of the Rooty Hill Anglican Church (part of Multicultural Bible Ministry, MBM).
Mark has a passion for ministry to people of all cultures, with a particular interest in those with Asian backgrounds, and will develop cp11’s ministry vision to be a growing congregation with a focus on local and global outreach. His goal is to grow Christians in evangelism, discipleship, and training.
Mark is married to Susan and they have three children: Jessica, Caitlin, and Sam. Mark is an avid bushman, enjoying the great Australian outdoors. Not only that, he has a wild interest in V8 Supercars!
Andrew Wong
Pastor of strathfield 9am
Andrew started up at WSCCC in Sunday School to eventually become the Youth and Young Adults pastor of strathfield 9am in 2011. Andrew is a graduate of Sydney Missionary & Bible College, a degree he undertook after completing a ministry internship with WSCCC. Andrew also holds degrees in Computer Science and Commerce, and he has worked as a software developer a for a number of years. Long term Andrew, his wife Joanna and daughter Emily plan to move to Japan to serve as missionaries.
He looks after the Friday night (Glue) and Sunday morning (Stick) youth programs, the mid-week young adults groups (TAG), along with occasional preaching on Sundays. He's passionate about the Gospel, and is particularly keen to meet people of little-to-no Christian background with deep questions about Jesus.
Andrew is sometimes seen playing 90s alternative rock music, riding a mountain bike dangerously, critically analysing the last movie he watched or eating food with lots of chilli.
