Our ministries

Our vision for ministry

At cp11, what we do as a church seeks to reflect our vision:

To be a people of God, growing in Christ, reaching out with the gospel until He returns.

As a congregation, we focus on growing. Growing by:

  • Individuals as Christians
  • God’s kingdom throughout the world.

Thus what we do in ministry is a balance of four goals aimed at such growth:

  • Equipping
    • Teaching the Bible
    • Ministry experience and training
  • Fellowship
    • Encouragement
    • Pastoral care
  • Local mission
    • Personal evangelism
    • Church-based evangelism
  • Global mission
    • Global awareness and missions experience
    • Mobilization and member care of missionaries

Our niche ministries

Our main ministry areas are listed on the menus on the left. Please click on any of them to find out more about them. If you have any questions about any ministry, please contact us via email or in person.

Our aim for anyone attending or visiting cp11 is to help every individual to explore Christianity, and to grow as Christians! Whilst most people’s first impressions are from our Sunday service, it is through the smaller ministries that you can know us better, and become part of our church community.

Each of our ministries focuses on a particular demography or ministry goal. We’d love you to visit some of our different areas of ministry – check out the ministry highlights and calendar in the News and events section.

The ministries in our church – like a body

The diversity of our ministries is like the various parts and functions of the human body. They come together to form a coherent being! Each part is interdependent and complementary.

Every person involved in every ministry is part of our overall team at cp11, with the overall body serving to bring glory to God.

There are also many other ministries not listed, in which our congregation members serve. In themselves, they are not groups with programmes to attend through the year. However, they are valuable parts of the cp11 team, serving to facilitate our preaching of the gospel in their own ways:

  • Welcoming and hospitality ministry
  • Music ministry
  • General affairs and maintenance ministries

There are many parts, but one body
