Preaching the Bible at cp11

Close-up of Bible text

As an evangelical church, our main aim is to be biblically-focused. Thus we treat the preaching of the Word of God as the key ministry of cp11. Proclamation of the Bible occurs most evidently through the sermons on Sunday, but also through our small groups, Kids’ Ministry, equipping seminars, missions ministries, and even in our fellowship with one another.

Below is listed our current preaching programme for the Sunday services. Part of what we encourage during the service is our Question and Answer time, during which anyone can ask questions of the speaker about the day’s Bible passage and sermon.

Sermon notes and outlines

Our sermons follow a series, and most weeks will be accompanied by sermon notes and outlines. It is useful for members to collect these notes, so that at the end of the series you will have a complete set of notes and sermons on a particular book of the Bible. Combined with a CD with the MP3s of all the sermons, this is a very helpful resource for future Bible studies!

Preaching programme for 2010

You can download MP3 recordings of these sermons from the sermon downloads page. You will need to log in to access the page; please ask Mark or Des for the sign-on details.
